A message from Steve Greenberg

The price of gas is now over $4.10 a gallon, yet once again an entire week has passed without a single measure proposed by Democrat Melissa Bean to provide relief at the gas pump for her constituents.

She voted twice against debating a bill aimed at expanding US refining capacities and refused to sign a discharge petition to force a vote on the measure. This bill would relieve the bottleneck in gasoline supply, serving to lower the cost of gas and move our nation closer to energy independence. Despite the fact that this proposal has the support of a majority of the people in the 8^th District, my opponent refuses to support it.

It is evident that this district needs new leadership in Washington. As you fill up your gas tank and cringe, remember that with real leadership in Washington we can bring about real solutions to the gas crisis. Stand with me in this election and help me fight for you.
