Steve Greenberg comments

Congress has adjourned for their "District Work Period". Don't be fooled, this is nothing more than a five week vacation that this Congress does not deserve.

Sadly, after weeks of standing in the way of commonsense energy solutions, my opponent cast the deciding vote to adjourn the house. This hypocrisy is a slap in the face to the many families who were forced to cancel their summer vacations due to high gas prices. Congress ought to lock the doors and pledge to stay in session until an agreement can be reached on a bill focused on providing relief at the gas pump for hurting families.

Our nation can no longer afford politicians in search of political gain at the expense of their constituents. We need leaders willing to take a stand for the people back home.
