Free Speech & The Constitution

Several members of Congress have gone back to their districts and have run into citizens that are upset about the cost of the health care bill and the pressure to pass it without taking time to read it. Democratic Leaders have called these people tea baggers, under the control of insurance companies, using Nazi tactics. The Dems don't believe that the silent majority would ever speak up. They ridicule the people that disagree with them, to try and convince other people that only right wing zealots would disagree with the Democratic Leadership in control of the government.

The response of the Dems to common people standing up and exercising free speech, reminds me of King George III and his royal court trying to put down the Founding Fathers of our Country. The King thought he knew better than the people and was outraged that they dared to protest against his government. The Dems need to read the Constitution, the people are the government, not the current Washington D.C. leadership.

We can be pleased that Congresswoman Bean will not have to face similar crowds in the 8th District, since she has little reason to visit the 8th District.
