I kept watching the media for news of Mitt Romney supporting Dan Rutherford for State Treasurer. So far nothing, so you can read it here instead.
Tuesday evening in a packed room at the Chicago Club, Governor Mitt Romney endorsed State Senator Dan Rutherford for Illinois State Treasurer. With all the corruption from the Rod Blagojevich administration and the proposed increased taxes from the other Democrats, this is the right time to elect Dan Rutherford our State Treasurer. Dan has already visited all 102 counties of Illinois and most of them several times to get his message out. His message is simple, Open & Honest government. With Dan Rutherford for Treasurer, the Republicans are off to a great start for the 2010 election.
