President Obama said he would give Congress and everyone time and access to the stimulus package before it was passed. He also said that there was no pork in the stimulus package. I think he has a little problem with the complete truth on those statements.
Senator Burris is having a hard time with the truth or at least the truth has he currently remembers it. All this from the downfall of former Governor Rod Blagojevich who has had his own problems with the truth.
Lake County State's Attorney Michael Waller has been investigating misconduct charges made by Democratic Lake County Board Members Bush and Wilke against Republican Board Members. Both Bush and Wilke admitted they had no factual information or evidence to substantiate the allegations. In other words they had problems with the truth.
What do all these have in common? They all come courtesy of the Cook County Democratic Party. These are the same people that have brought you the highest sales tax in the country and one of the most corrupt county governments in the country. Let us keep Cook County politics and lack of truth in government in Cook County. The people of Lake County deserve better.
